More Animation Process

For my animation i first photographed the action using a digital camera with multi shot, then i traced each photo, and then added colour. Using Photoshop i manipulated the frames to create the chalkboard effect. To do this i converted each image to grayscale then inverted each image.

Storyboarding

An important part of any moving visuals, some storyboard sketches from my animation "Trapped"

More Typography

some more of my typography work, this was part of an illustration module, but didnt make the final cut, the idea was to use the word train and to create train tracks in black and then in the grey create the image of a train which is why ive cut bits off the r and a to create the look of train windows.

My first commission

this was something from approx 4 years ago when i was in college doing BTEC Art & Design, one of my teachers asked me to do a composition for a book cover, which just simply involved putting in the text and the image, the main image was created by my teacher, and all i simply had to do was create the composition and that was it.

Illustration for the commuter

here are some pieces which i created for a book called the The Restless Commuter created by me, to illustrate various aspects of the commuters travel.

The Instant Effect

the instant effect, was a slogan i used to promote smoking before the UK's smoking ban came in effect. here are some of the pieces i created to promote smoking.

i had to find a selling point, whats good about smoking? whats positive about smoking?

i came up with the "instant effect just add cigarette" to emphaisze things about smoking like how it relieves stress, can add to social skill etc....

Typography - Overlooked Artform

Here are some of my typography pieces, these pieces in particular are conceptual designs for a CD Cover, the image uses german wedding vows to create the image of piano keys. this was for a University Module where i decided to illustrate the music Fur Elise by Beethoven, the story behind it was it was written by Beethoven to use to propose to his girlfriend, unfortunatly he got so drunk he wasnt able to and she ended up marrying another nobleman, hence the german wedding vows. and the other image i just was playing around with some of the functions on Photoshop.

Evolution Of A Image

My work, well my personal work is very pattern based. and each image is fromed through process which i can apply to each new image i create to create new images
